MACA has several membership categories that are described below. If you are interested in any membership category, please contact us today. More information about membership categories may be found in the MACA by-laws.
Voting Member
One may apply and become a voting member is he or she is an independent agricultural consultants who work in Mississippi, is licensed by the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce, and holds a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university may qualify for voting membership. These members must meet annual continuing education requirements and adhere to the MACA code of ethics.
To apply, complete the application found on this web site and mail it to the MACA secretary-treasurer’s office.
Inactive Member
An inactive member has been a voting member for at least 2 years in the past, but either no longer independently consulting for a fee.
Associate Member
An associate member meets all of the requirements to be a voting member but does not work in Mississippi.
Student Member
One may become a student member if he or she is enrolled in any level of a college training program related to the agricultural field.
Honorary Member
Honorary members are an elite group of MACA’s membership. They have been voted into this status by the voting members because of their contributions to the field of agriculture and to MACA.
Sustaining Member
A sustaining member is any individual, for-profit company or group that wishes to support the goals and activities of MACA with their membership.
